The Uplands is a mixture of public and private ownership and these private lands are for sale. The property offers 360-degree scenic views of the Yakima Valley and miles of hiking and biking trails meandering through sagebrush, grasslands, and flowering meadows.

The Big Picture

You can see from this map how important
this property is to our recreation trail system.
Many of the most popular and beloved
trails in the Uplands run through it.

Join us for a walk!

Take a walk with a CCC guide and experience
the incredible views and unique beauty of these 245 acres.

Property tours are postponed for now.
We will set future dates when the COVID-19 situation improves.  We encourage folks to get outside and enjoy CCC lands in the mean time.

Walks will depart from the Scenic Trailhead Parking Lot.
Come prepared for the weather.
Walk will be about 1.5 hours.

Quick Facts

The land is adjacent to CCC and Bureau of Land
Management (BLM) ownership. The historic Jeep Trail
runs right through this property.

Protecting these 245 acres gives us permanent access
to the existing trail system. This property is beautiful shrub-steppe
habitat, full of native plants, wildflowers, and animals.

Preserve one of Yakima’s treasures!

Permanently protecting these lands adds
to the value of our community and opportunities
for outdoor recreation and tourism.

We are over halfway there!

You can help protect these wild lands and
leave a legacy for future generations to enjoy!
